Planning Meeting
Where clarity takes shape.
Nothing is implemented at this stage.
What to expect from the Planning Meeting
The Planning Meeting is where we bring everything together and start making sense of the bigger picture.
We review your Compass Report, explore different scenarios, and look at how your decisions affect income, flexibility, and longer-term outcomes.
The focus is on understanding your options and trade-offs, so you can decide on a direction that feels right without rushing into action.
What the Planning Meeting is for
This meeting is about clarity and direction.
In this meeting, we focus on understanding:
How your finances work together as a whole
What income is sustainable and flexible
How different choices affect future options
Where trade-offs exist between certainty and flexibility
What direction best supports the life you want
What you’ll leave with
By the end of the meeting, you’ll have:
In this meeting, we focus on understanding:
A clear view of your financial position
An understanding of your realistic options
Clarity on the trade-offs between different paths
A direction that feels considered and intentional
Confidence about what, if anything, should happen next
You’re under no obligation to continue beyond this point.

Your Compass Report
The Compass Report brings your financial information, priorities, and concerns into one clear, visual picture.
In the Planning Meeting, we use it as a working tool — to explore scenarios, test assumptions, and see how different decisions affect your future.
The Compass Report creates a clear, structured view of your situation and acts as the foundation for meaningful planning.
The Compass Report is designed to help identify:
Bring everything into one clear, joined-up picture
Show how your finances interact over time
Highlight trade-offs between different choices
Test assumptions before decisions are made
Identify where flexibility exists and where it doesn’t
It’s not about finding a perfect answer.
It’s about understanding your choices clearly enough to move forward with confidence
What happens after the meeting
After the Planning Meeting, you’ll have time to reflect on the direction we’ve agreed together.
If you decide you’d like to proceed, I’ll prepare your personalised Recommendation Report, based on the discussions, scenarios, and priorities we’ve explored.
We then meet again for a Recommendation Meeting, where the report is presented clearly and we talk through the detail, implications, and next steps.
If you’d rather pause or take more time before deciding, that’s absolutely fine too.
The pace — and whether you proceed at all — is always your choice.
How to approach the meeting
So you know exactly what this meeting is and what it isn’t
The Planning Meeting is where we bring everything together and start making sense of the bigger picture.
This isn’t a commitment meeting, and nothing I present requires agreement on the day. There’s no pressure and no expectation to proceed.
During the session, I’ll walk you through your full financial picture step by step, explaining the thinking behind each part in plain English. We’ll explore different options, scenarios, and trade-offs, and talk openly about what makes sense financially and what feels right personally
Sometimes the most efficient route on paper doesn’t immediately align with how something feels emotionally and that’s completely normal. This meeting is about understanding those tensions, asking questions, and exploring them properly.
Your role is simply to listen, ask questions, and see what feels right for you.
If, by the end of the meeting, we agree on a clear direction, I’ll then go away and turn that into a formal Recommendation Report for you to consider in your own time.
Think of this meeting as getting the compass aligned, before we draw the map.
