Foundations Meeting
This is our starting point.
No cost. No obligation.
What to expect from the Foundations Meeting
The Foundations Meeting is a calm, no-pressure conversation designed to give you space to pause and talk things through before making any decisions.
You don’t need to have everything perfectly organised, and there’s no expectation to proceed.
It’s simply an opportunity to explore what matters to you, where things feel uncertain, and how your current situation fits together.
What the Foundations Meeting is for
This meeting is about understanding
In this meeting, we focus on understanding:
You and your family
Your current situation
What matters to you now and in the years ahead
Any concerns or uncertainties you’re carrying
What you want the next stage of life to feel like
What you’ll leave with
By the end of the meeting, you’ll have:
In this meeting, we focus on understanding:
A clearer sense of your goals & priorities
Clarity on what information would be needed to build a plan
A clear explanation of how the planning process works
Clarity on what happens next, without any obligations
A feel for whether this approach is right for you
You’re under no obligation to continue beyond this point.

Your Compass Report
The Foundations Meeting is where we focus on understanding you and your situation before any planning work begins.
Following our conversation, we bring together what we’ve discussed, along with any additional information required, to prepare your personalised Compass Report.
The Compass Report creates a clear, structured view of your situation and acts as the foundation for meaningful planning.
The Compass Report is designed to help identify:
Areas that may need further exploration
Questions worth answering before decisions are made
Where structure and clarity could be improved
It’s not a recommendation and it’s not a commitment.
It’s a reference point to support the next conversation, if you choose to continue.
What happens after the meeting
After the Foundations Meeting, there’s space to reflect.
We take what we’ve discussed and prepare your Compass Report in the background, bringing structure to the information gathered and highlighting the areas that deserve further attention.
If it feels right to continue, we arrange a Planning Meeting where we review the Compass Report together, explore different options, and decide on a sensible direction at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
If it doesn’t feel right to move forward, that’s absolutely fine too.
There’s no obligation to continue beyond the Foundations Meeting.
Before we meet
So the conversation is as useful as possible
The Foundations Meeting works best when we have a clear picture of your starting point.
There’s no need for anything to be perfectly organised, but it’s helpful if you can bring or have access to:
Details of any pensions, investments, ISAs, or other policies you hold
A rough sense of where your money is held, even if the numbers aren’t exact
Any recent statements you already have to hand
Alongside that, it’s worth giving some thought to:
What you want the next stage of life to look like
What feels uncertain or unresolved right now
What prompted you to book the meeting in the first place
If some of this isn’t clear yet, that’s completely fine.
The purpose of the meeting is to help organise what you already have and make sense of it together.
